What are Butter Resource Groups?

Butter Resource Groups (BRGs) are Givebutter sponsored Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). BRG’s are employee led groups that come together voluntarily around common interests or backgrounds that pertain to being part of an underrepresented group. Their purpose is to foster conversations, camaraderie, promote DEI, form bonds that lead to greater retention, attract talent, and/or promote diversity internally within the organization they live.

A few overviews that help further explain what ERGs are and their importance here and here.

A BRG is not

BRGs are intended to support underrepresented groups at Givebutter or in the greater technology industry. BRGs are not:

To be considered a BRG at Givebutter you have to be formally recognized by the People team and ELT. Only formally recognized BRGs are listed on this page.
