These have been our guiding principles since the inception of our company. Our goal is to create the best product for ALL people to give better.
To do this well we will strive to build, maintain, and support a community that looks different, thinks different, and has different life experiences. Additionally, we pledge to always encourage and celebrate the diverse voices and backgrounds of the employees that call Givebutter home. We are committed to doing our part in building a more inclusive environment.

- We post all new roles on job boards that serve historically marginalized people such as Diversity Jobs, InHerSight, Diversity for Social Impact, Black Tech Pipeline, the Mom Project.
- We monitor and share progress of diversity initiatives by tracking Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) data
- We present candidate slates to hiring managers with a emphasis on having diverse slates of candidates
- Require annual trainings for all staff on diversity and managing biases
- Highlight campaigns and success stories from diverse users in our content creation
- Plan internal and external programs that feature diverse voices
- Purchase employee gifts from companies that partner with minority businesses such as Bold xChange
