Confidential data is secret and valuable

Everyone, from our customers and partners to our employees and contractors, should feel that their data is safe. The only way to gain their trust is to proactively protect our systems and databases. We can all contribute to this by being vigilant and keeping cybersecurity top of mind. For this reason, we have implemented a number of security measures and outlined best practices that help mitigate security risks.

Confidential data includes but is not limited to:

Device Security

We require our employees to keep both their personal and company-issued devices highly secure to the best of their ability. Company-issued devices may require the use of a Modern Device Manager (MDM) and Givebutter may require that certain or all employees use specific software or hardware based on role or other factors.

JAMF

We use a Modern Device Management (MDM) system called JAMF to monitor all Givebutter Apple devices.

The purpose of JAMF is to improve security and streamline onboarding. It is NOT monitoring software. JAMF will ensure that everyone at Givebutter is getting their apps and OS updated accordingly, that their security settings are up to date, and help us streamline onboarding.
